The Story Behind The Blooms
UK grown dried flowers, crafted from seed with regenerative care.
This is my story, told through the meaning and magic of flowers.

A Life Grown in Flowers
I’m Esmee and Flores & Bloom began as a quiet idea rooted in the desire to grow and create with intention.
I fell in love with dried flowers the moment I realised they didn’t have to fade. Fresh bouquets were always bittersweet — beautiful for a moment, then gone. But dried flowers held their colour, their texture and their meaning for months, even years. That lasting joy is what I now share through Flores & Bloom.
How It All Began
A growing space alive with pollinators. Flowers alive with meaning.
I’ve always loved flowers, but I never felt at ease with the fleeting nature of fresh bouquets. It felt wasteful to cut something at its most beautiful only to watch it wilt. When I discovered dried flowers, everything changed. I realised they could be even more vibrant than their fresh counterparts — deeper in colour, richer in texture, more sculptural, more expressive. They didn’t lose their beauty; they transformed.
That discovery lit something in me. I began growing flowers from seed, learning how each stem behaved as it dried, noticing which colours intensified, which shapes curled into something poetic, which grasses caught the light in a way that felt almost alive. What started as curiosity became devotion — and eventually, a calling.
I first learned the basics of drying flowers from a Gardeners’ World guide and it gave me the confidence to start experimenting with my own methods.
Flores & Bloom grew from that moment of recognition: that beauty doesn’t have to be temporary, and that flowers can tell a story long after they’ve left the garden.
Why Flores & Bloom
The name is a little love story of its own.
My husband is Spanish, and “Flores” means “flowers” in Spanish. It felt right to weave a part of him — and a part of our life together — into the heart of the brand. “Bloom” represents the colour, joy and transformation that flowers bring, even in their dried form.
Together, Flores & Bloom is a blend of our worlds: rooted in nature, shaped by love, and grown with intention.
How I Grow
UK grown dried flowers, hand-crafted, heart led.
I grow every single flower, grass and stem from seed here in the UK. It’s slow, intentional work — the kind that asks you to pay attention to the soil, the seasons and the small miracles happening every day. A real labour of love.
I’m not organically certified, and I don’t claim to be. But I grow using regenerative, no‑dig principles because they feel right to me:
– protecting soil structure
– feeding the soil rather than forcing it
– encouraging natural resilience
– avoiding synthetic pesticides and chemicals
– letting nature lead, not fight against it
The RHS website is a fantastic resource for no dig gardening.
Grown gently. Loved by bees. Crafted with care.
My growing space is alive with bees, butterflies and pollinators — a constant reminder that when you grow gently, the whole ecosystem responds. Watching them move through the flowers is one of my greatest joys, and a quiet affirmation that this way of growing matters.
This isn’t about labels. It’s about respect — for the land, for the wildlife, and for the flowers themselves.

Handcrafted With Intention
From seed to stem to story – all in one pair of hands
Every arrangement in my shop begins as a seed grown here in the UK.
Every bouquet, wreath and arrangement is made by hand in my studio. I place each stem individually, balancing colour, texture and movement until it feels just right — expressive, harmonious, and full of quiet emotion.
I don’t rush the process.
I don’t mass‑produce.
I create each piece the way I’d want to receive it: thoughtfully, gently, and with meaning.
My aim is simple: to make flowers that feel like a message. UK grown dried flowers that last. Flowers that become part of someone’s home, celebration or story.
Rooted in Feminine Creativity and Care
Flores & Bloom is a woman-owned, woman-run studio built from the ground up – from the soil I tend to the UK grown dried flowers I craft. Every decision, every seed, every stem is shaped by my hands and guided by my values. This business is not just something I run; it’s something I’ve grown, nurtured and poured myself into, one season at a time.
What Matters Most
Blooms that hold their colour, their meaning and their magic
Flores & Bloom is built on values that guide every decision;
Meaningful design — flowers chosen for what they represent
Longevity — beauty that lasts far beyond fresh bouquets
Regenerative growing — nurturing soil, not disturbing it
Biodiversity — creating a haven for bees, butterflies and pollinators
Thoughtful gifting — flowers that carry emotion, not just decoration
Honesty — UK grown dried flowers, no over‑claims, no greenwashing, just genuine care
This isn’t just a business.
It’s a way of honouring nature, creativity and the quiet joy that flowers bring.

A Life Grown in Flowers
Every stem has a story — from seed to bloom to the moment it becomes part of someone’s home. UK grown dried flowers from Flores & Bloom is my way of sharing those stories, one bouquet at a time.
It’s a reflection of who I am: someone who finds the beauty and magic in the small things, someone who loves the idea that something simple like a flower, can hold meaning long after it’s been picked.
