About Flores & Bloom

UK Grown Dried Flowers. Rooted in The Earth and Made by Hand With Care.

A seed-grown dried flower studio rooted in care, intention and meaning

Flores & Bloom is a small, independent, UK grown dried flowers studio founded and run by me, Esmee. Everything I make begins with UK grown dried flowers, raised from seed in my no-dig growing space. We are rooted in seed-grown craft and regenerative care. I grow every flower myself — from seed to bloom — using regenerative, no‑dig methods that protect the soil and honour the land. Every stem is harvested by hand, dried naturally, and crafted into arrangements designed to bring long‑lasting beauty and meaning into your home.

This studio is built on slow craft, thoughtful design and a deep respect for nature.

Naturally UK‑grown

Everything begins as a seed sown in British soil that I tend myself. Choosing to work with UK grown dried flowers was a deliberate decision. I don’t use imported or wholesale stems — only what grows and blooms here in the UK in my growing space.

Each dried flower piece is made from harvests guided by nature’s rhythm, shaped by the seasons and the quiet patience of growing. This is floristry that starts long before the arranging — in the soil, in the tending, in the care.

Why seed‑grown matters to me

Growing from seed isn’t just a method — it’s the heart of my practice. Each tray of seedlings begins as a quiet promise, a reminder that beauty takes time. I choose to grow this way because it keeps me connected to every stage of the process: the soil, the weather, the rhythm of the seasons. It means I know exactly how each flower lived, how it was cared for, and how it came to be part of your arrangement.

This closeness to the growing cycle shapes everything I make. It keeps the work honest, grounded, and deeply personal.

Regenerative, small‑batch growing

Inspired by regenerative practices pioneered by Charles Dowding, I use a no‑dig method that protects soil structure and encourages biodiversity.

I harvest thoughtfully and only in small batches, allowing each flower to reach its perfect moment. This approach values quality and longevity over volume — every bloom is grown with intention and respect for the land.

A studio shaped by values

Flores & Bloom is intentionally small. I grow in limited quantities so I can stay close to the land and close to the work. Working with UK-grown dried flowers allows me to design with materials that feel honest, seasonal and rooted in place. I choose materials carefully, reuse what I can, and keep waste to a minimum. Most of my flowers are completely natural, dried just as they grow; only Amaranthus is lightly artist‑dyed at the moment, and always with transparency.

Using UK grown dried flowers mean fewer transport miles, less waste and a closer

This studio is built on care — for the soil, for the craft, and for the people who welcome my flowers into their homes.

Slow and heartfelt floristry

Every bouquet, wreath, and arrangement is created slowly and by hand.

Beauty is more powerful when made with care and intention, and I design purposefully in tune with the seasons. My work is personal and grounded — rooted in the earth and crafted to bring calm, meaning, and lasting beauty into your world.

Crafting with intention

When I design, I’m not just arranging stems — I’m creating pieces that hold meaning. I pay attention to the curve of a stem, the softness of a plume, the way colours shift as they dry. I want every arrangement to feel like a small moment of calm, something that brings a sense of stillness into your home.

My work is slow on purpose. It allows me to honour the flowers and give each piece the time it needs to become something special.
